Dimensional Analysis can't derive relation or formula if a physical quantity depends upon more than three factors having dimensions. It can't derive a formula containing trigonometric function, exponential function, and logarithmic function and it can't derive a relation having more than one part in an equation.

Limitations of Dimentional
- 1. In Dimensional Equations, we cannot determine dimensionless constant used in physical relation.
- 2. By Dimensional Equations, we compare the power of M, L and T on both sides, therefore it fails to derive the relation involving more than 3 independent factors.
- 4. This system fails to give information about trigonometric function, logarithm etc. involved in physical relation.
- 5. It fails to derive the relation or formula which contains more than one step.
