Malthusian theory is all about growth of population rate.

Back in 1798 malthus proposed this theory.

According to this theory population growth occurs exponentially and it is related with the birth rate.

Limitations of this theory are;

1) growth formulas are not correct and oversimplified

2) evolution of modern science

3) evolution of modern agricultural system

4) Import of food supplies

These points mentioned in the malthusian theory were the criticised points and limitations of this theory.
