Heya.....

QUESTION:- 1). Limitations of ohms law

2). Define mobility

ANSWERS :-

1). Limitations of ohms law

€. When current gets heated up . The increase in temperature of the conductor and the linear relations between V and I is violated

€. According to ohms law

It says that current increases with increase in voltage and decreases with decrease in voltage

But in some devices like thermistor,

It had observed that decrease in voltage results in increase in current & increase in voltage results in decrease in current

so , this is not explained in ohm's law, it is a second limitations of this law

€. The linear relationship between V and I is not satisfied in the case of semi conductors

2). DEFINE MOBILITY

MOBILITY OF A CHARGE CARRIER IS DEFINED AS THE MAGNITUDE OF THE DRIFT VELOCITY PER UNIT ELECTRIC FIELD
