Limitations of Coulomb's Law:

Its only applicable for point charges at rest. Its only applicable in dose cases where inverse square law is obeyed. It is difficult to apply the Coulomb's law when the charges are in arbitrary shape

LIMITATIONS OF CULOMB'S LAW.

1. ONLY APPLICABLE FOR POINT CHARGE

2. ALSO ONLY FOR STATIC CHARGE.

3. INVERSE SQUARE LAW

4. SEPARATION BETWEEN THE TWO CHARGES

BE GREATER THAN THE NUCLEAR SIZE ( 10^-15M) .
