Let us put the value x=0 and y=0 separately in the equation.
If we put x=0 then,
4y=12
or y=12/4=3
So, the coordinate of the point upon x axis of equation 3x+4y=12. is(0,3)[ans.]

If we put y=0 then,
3x=12
or, x= 12/3=4
So, the coordinate of the point upon y axis of equation 3x+4y=12. is (4,0)[Ans.]

Anonymous: I have done a slightly mistake. That is , it will cut the y axis at point (0,3) and cut the x axis at a point (4,0).
