EXPLANATION.

Graph of the straight line.

⇒ y = 2x - 4.

As we know that,

Put the value of x = 0 in the equation, we get.

⇒ y = 2(0) - 4.

⇒ y = - 4.

Their Co-ordinates = (0,-4).

Put the value of y = 0 in the equation, we get.

⇒ (0) = 2x - 4.

⇒ 2x = 4.

⇒ x = 2.

Their Co-ordinates = (2,0).

ANSWER

GRAPH GIVEN IN ATTACHMENT

EXPLANATION

GIVEN:-

y = 2x-4.

Find the Y intercept

At x = 0

y=2(0) - 4 = - 4

(0,-4).

Find the X intercept

At y = 0

2x - 4 = 0

x = 4/2 = 2

(2,0).

Plot these two intercept points on a graph sheet.Join them with the help of a straight line.

THANKS!!
