To find : the length of segment NP

Solution:

OM = OL = 5 (Radius)

MP = 4  

OP² = OM² - MP²

=> OP² = 5² - 4²

=> OP² = 9

=> OP = 3

ON = 5  Radius

ON = OP + NP

=> 5 = 3 + NP

=> NP = 2

Length of Segment NP = 2 units
