In Android:

• Select the text and click on the formatting icon.
• Change The Line Spacing or Character Spacing (Both option are present )

In Windows

• Select the Text
• Click on the Line space icon
• Change line space

• Select the text
• click on the character space icon (just in the right of the line space icon)
• Change character space.

On Mac

I never operate Mac so I will not answering how to chane line or character space in ms word.
