-x+5y =1 ~~~...(i)\\y-3x =6~~~...(ii)\\

Multiply equation (ii) by 5 and do (ii)-(i)

(5y-15x) +x-5y = 30-1\\\\\implies -14x = 29\\\\\implies x =-\dfrac{29}{14}\\\\\\

Substitute the value of x in eq (i):

\dfrac{29}{14} + 5y = 1\\\\\implies 5y = 1 -\dfrac{29}{14} =- \dfrac{15}{14}\\\\\implies y =- \dfrac{15}{70}=-\dfrac{3}{14}

Hence

(x,y) = \left(-\dfrac{29}{14} , -\dfrac{3}{14} \right)
