Answer:Q.5 Let the no. be 10x+y

x be digit at tens place and y be digit at unit place,

By 1st condition, x+y=15______equation 1

2nd condition, 10x+y+9=10y+x

So,9x-9y=-9

So, x- y =-1______equation 2

By solveng eqn. 1 and 2,we get x=7 and y=8.

By substituting values of x and y in equation of number 10(7)+8 , we get the number 78.

4.

Let the time they will meet be 't' hours.

Let one bus be 'x' and the other be 'y'.

Speed of y = 90 km/hr.

Distance traveled by y = 90 * t[Distance = Speed * Time]

Distance travelled by x = 60 * (t + 1)[ because it started 1 hour before]

If both buses travel in the same route.

=> 90 * t = 60 * (t + 1)

=> 90t = 60t + 60

=> 30t = 60

=> t = 2

Therefore, they will meet after 2 hours.

(5)

Lets two numbers are x and y

x + y = 15

So number is 10x+y .

If 9 added then

=> 10x + y + 9 = 10y+x

=> 9x - 9y + 19=0

=> x + y= -1

Solve (1) & (2), we get

x + y = 15

x + y = -1

--------------

x = 7

Place x = 7 in (1).

x + y = 15

7 + y = 15

y = 8

Therefore, the number is 78.
