Answer:

3/4, 6/4

Step-by-step explanation:

2x+y=3

y=2x

The value of y is 2x

Lets substitute this in first equation,

2x+2x=3

4x=3

x=3/4

2(3/4)+y=3

6/4+y=3

y=12/4 - 6/4

y = 6/4

Given,

2x + y = 3      ---- 1

and

y = 2x    ---- 2

Now, putting y = 2x in Eqn. 1, we get

    2x + 2x = 3

=> 4x = 3

=> x = 3/4 = 0.75

Now,

    y = 2x

=> y = 2 × 3/4

=> y = 6/4 = 3/2 = 1.5

Therefore, x = 0.75,  y = 1.5
