let 1/root x = a

and 1/root y =b

2a+3b=2 ------1equation

and

4a-9b=-1 --------2equation

2a+3b=2  -------1equation multiply by 9
4a-9a=-1  -------2equation multiply by 3

18a+27b = 18
12a-27a=-3

30a = 15

a= 15/30

a= 1/2

put the value of a in equation 1

2a+3b=2

(2*1/2) + 3b= 2

1+3b= 2

3b= 2-1

3b=1

b= 1/3

then

1/root x = 1/2

and 1/root y= 1/3

then, root x= 2        and root y =3

then x= 2^2 and y= 3^2

x=4 and y=9

i hope this will help

Heyaa

Let 1/root x=a
And then 1/ root y=b

Therefore, equation will be

2a+3b=2—-1
And
4a-9y= -1 ——-2

Therefore as they are two linear equations

We apply elimination [CAN BE APPLIED ANY METHOD BUT AS ITS EASY M APPLYING THIS DUDE]

so,

4a+6b=4 [multiply by 2]
4a-9b= -1

—————
15b=5

So b =1/3

As b=1/ root y ,

Y=9 put in one...

And a = 1/2

So ..

Value of x—->>>>>. 4

And value of y———>>>9

Can bwe solved by putting in the above m mentioned equations.

Hope it helps you..ishu

Any doubt uhh can ask

Thanks..

God bless uh..
