Hey there!

Your Question–

\frac{x - 5}{2} - \frac{x - 3}{5} = \frac{1}{2} </p><p></p><p><strong><u>To Find –</u></strong></p><p></p><ul><li>The value of x.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong><u>How to solve–</u></strong></p><p></p><ul><li> Multiplying all 3 fraction with the LCM of 2,5 and 2.</li><li>Solve the equation.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong><u>Solution–</u></strong></p><p></p><p>=(10x \times \frac{x - 5}{2} ) - (10x\times \frac{x - 3}{5} ) = (10 \times  \frac{1}{2} )

=5(x - 5) - 2 (x - 3) = 5

=5x - 25 - 2x  + 6 = 5

=5x - 2x - 25 + 6 = 5

=3x - 19 = 5

=3x  = 5 + 19

=3x = 24

=x =  \frac{24}{3}

Thus, \: x = 8

Hope this answer will help you...
