There are three types of defences hide, run and fight. Both humans and animals give priority to hide then to run and finally to fight keeping in mind the chances of survival in each defence but in grasslands hiding is difficult for preys and at the same time it's easier for the predators so in order to overcome this difficulty nature has given priority to speed for animals belonging to grasslands. The speciality of an animal depends on it's habitat.
