Your Answer:

Given:-

  • \tt Lipika \:reads\: a\: book\: for \:1\frac{3}{4}\:hours \:everyday

To Find:-

  • How many hours in all were required by her to read the book.

Solution:-

\tt In \:one \:day=1\frac{3}{4}\:hours =\frac{7}{4}hours

So, In one day she she reads 7/4 hours

\tt In \:six \:days =(6 \times \frac{7}{4})hours\\\\\tt In \:six \:days =\frac{21}{2}hours

Converting it into mix fraction

\tt In \:six \:days =10\frac{1}{2}hours

And she completed his reading in 6 days

So, the number of hours required to read the book is \bf \tt 10\frac{1}{2}hours
