In the liquids the particles are far apart as compared to that of solid thus the forces of attraction between the molecules are weaker than in case of solid ...hence they have lesser density as compared to that of solids..

Liquid have lower density as compared to solid bcoz solids have fixed shape and fixed volume wherereas.. liquid don not. have ...liquids can flow but solid cannot

...liquids have volume... bcoz it take the shape of the container....
