Physical quantity is the amount of liquid which can be measured in liter or mili liter. During our lab work we need to mix reagents into the distilled water. We use measuring cylinder in the lab to measure the amount of the distilled water. If we need 50 ml of D/W, we have to add distilled water into the measuring cylinder mark up to the 100 ml and we need to be careful while measuring the liquid a small extra amount can give you an error in your result.
