Answer:

A given liquid will evaporate more quickly when it is heated. This is because the heating process results in a greater fraction of the liquid's molecules having the necessary kinetic energy to escape the surface of the liquid.

Answer:

When we heat liquids, the atoms/molecules of the liquid gain thermal (heat) energy. They move more rapidly, and this increase in their kinetic energy eventually overcomes the intermolecular forces that hold the substance in its liquid state. The atoms/molecules just "break free" and change state to become a gas. That's why, liquids evaporate on heating.
