liquids generally have lower density as compared to solids but we have seen ice floats on water why??

Because ice dose not weigh alot but as yoi can see huge ice bergs always sink

Because ice is less denser than water. Unlike other liquids if water is cooled it expands 1/11th of its volume.. This is the correct one
