Lisa has 12 more stickers than John, and together they have 60 stickers. What is the ratio of the number of Lisa’s stickers to the number of John’s stickers?

Let the number of stickers John has be x

Therefore , number of stickers Lisa has will be x+12

According to the given condition,the equation is

x+x+12=60

2x=60-12

2x=48

x=48/2

x=24

Therefore, the number of sticker John has is 24

And the number of sticker Lisa has will be

x+12 =36

The ratio of Lisa's stickers to John 's stickers is

36:24

= 18:12

= 9:6

= 3:2

Therefore their ratio is 3:2
