Lisa made observations of stars at different times of the year. She noticed a lot of patterns in the fall, while she couldn't find any patterns in the summer. Why might this be?

Answer:

Fall has a more repetitive weather pattern

Explanation:

Fall is typically associated with gold leaves, drying of trees, temperatures decreasing, etc. While sumer is not summer and winter are two distinct seasons, ofte with wet or dry seasons, while spring and fall are transition seasons. Summer has greater variety as it varies not only day by day but also place by place, fall only transitions summer into winter and thus it typically the same day by day and region by region.
