The challenges before our government to maintain sustainable development as are as follows.

1) We have to reduce our dependency on heavy metals and fossil fuels such as coal, petroleum and oil & natural gas to reduce the pollution in the environment.

2) We have to reduce our dependency on synthetic chemicals.

3) We have to ensure that we do not stop people from meeting their needs in order to achieve environmental sustainability, We must maintain a balance between environmental and economic sustainability.

4) We have to reduce destruction of our nature which seriously includes clearing of forests and making habitats for human population, and also destroying habitats of wild animals.

5) Also we do not have to compromise with the needs of our future generation.
