• The pathogen is Salmonella typhi which is a bacteria.
• It spreads through contaminated food and water.
• It affects the small intestine.
• Symptoms are headache, high fever, stomach pain, loss of appetite etc.
• Widal test is commonly conducted to check the presence of the typhoid bacteria.

Malaria:

• The pathogen are Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium malaria and Plasmodium falciparum which are protozoans.
• The vector is the female anopheles mosquito.
• The pathogens initially affect the liver cells and then move to RBCs of the blood rupturig it.
