Hello Friend !

The five main adaptation promoting cross pollinations are :-

# Cross pollinated flowers have longer stamens than carpel.

#Petals are larger and brightly coloured with strong smell to attract insects.

# Flowers usually contain nectars to attract insects and birds.

#They produce large number of pollen grains.

#Pollens are usually sticky so that it gets easily attached to the body parts of the pollinators.

Hope this helps !!

hey
here's your answer!!

5 main adaptation promoting cross pollination are---
1) different timings of maturation of the stigma and the anther.(dichogamy)
2) different height of the stigma and the anther.
3) the flower can be a unisexual flower.
4) some plants have stigma which contains ovules that can be fertilized by anthers from a different plant only. (self sterility)
5) in some flowers stamens and carpels grow in such a way that it forms a barrier between the anther and the stigma. (heikogamy)

hope it helps!!
