2) They needed area for making their own property like buildings , industries , universities etc....

3) During world war ; they needed woods for making their weapons , and for war needs...

4) The war created a mass destruction to the forest in India.

5) For slash and burn cultivation mare number of trees were cut and burnt using it as small scale farming.
