It can be purified
It has a chemical formula
It has a consistent melting point; mixtures tend to soften before melting.
Its boiling point (at atmospheric pressure) is always the same.
There is only one sort of molecule in it.
However, even pure water is actually a mixture of H2O, H3O+ and OH- ions, and little strings and clusters of H2O molecules joined together by hydrogen bonds.

water has a fixed proportion that is h2o it can't be change
the second one is it is made up of two molecules that is hydrogen and oxygen .
it has a fixed boiling and melting point .
