Den are kind of confined spaces that are by fact large enough to allow a worker access, but they are not constructed for continuous occupancy.
Oxygen composes nearly one-fifth (or 20.9%) of the air we breathe, with the persisting four-fifths of the atmosphere being constituted of nitrogen.
List Of A Few Reasons Why The Oxygen Level Decreases In The Cave
- A decrease in oxygen levels in a confined space such as a den could be due to the impacts of combustion.
- It can most probably be caused by microbial activity like the process of fermentation.
- It could be because of oxidisation such as rusting of the internal surface of a den.
- It can be caused because of the displacement of another gas such as nitrogen or argon.
