Between 60 and 70 the prime numbers are 61 and 67.

Given:

The range is between 60 and 70.

To Find:

Prime numbers between 60 and 70.

Solution:

Prime numbers are those numbers which are only divisible by only itself and 1.

Between 60 and 70 there are 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69.

By prime factorizing the numbers we get,

61= 1×61

62= 2×31

63= 3×3×7

64= 2×2×2×2×2×2

65= 5×13

66=2×3×11

67=1×67

68= 2×2×17

69= 3×23

So we can see only 61 and 67 are divisible by 1 and the number itself.

Hence, between 60 and 70 the prime numbers are 61 and 67.
