This activity aims to determine what white light is made of.

In PART A of the experiment, the student is asked to refract the rays of the sun using a bowl filled with water, a piece of white paper, and a mirror.

OBSERVATIONS:

It was observed that sunlight is composed of different colors of light. When you combine all these colors, different from pigments, light appears only as white light. The refracted white light is composed of the following colors:

• Red
• Orange
• Yellow
• Green
• Blue
• Indigo
• Violet
