Answer:Many major changes took place in the subcontinent when Islam was countinously spreading in the subcontinent through merchants, sufis, missionaries and even through pilgrimage routes. After the people of the subcontinent received the message of Islam and started to follow it, some revolutionary changes occurred. The missionaries and sufis introduced simplicity. The muslims were highly against the caste system, so they destroyed the caste system. Those who were converted to Islam were treated with equal respect. Persian language became the official language of the subcontinent after the invasion of the Ghazanvids. After the arrival of Islam, people of the subcontinent improved their moral values. Like they became honest with their businesses. They became loyal with their leaders and country as well. Sufism also became highly popular in the continent in the 12th century AD. The main idea which made Sufis popular was that they were tolerant towards other religions.
After the arrival of Qutb-ud-din Aibak, the first muslim ruler of the subcontinent, slavery system was destroyed. The slavery system discontiued not only in indo-pak but also the entire world. According to me it is a high achievement of the muslim rulers.
The Turkish Sultans introduced a new style of architecture. They introduced the simplicity and the grandeur of the Islamic style of architecture in whatever they built.This was really very different from what the Indians used to build. The Muslims made masjids which can also be seen in present day Pakistan. The famous buildings of the time period is the Qutb Minar and Quwwat-ul-Islam.
