Any two features of secularism:
1) Equality:
In secularism, every individual is treated equally irregardless of their religion. The state shows neither shows favoritism to any particular religion nor gives special treatment to any religion. Rather all the religions and the individuals following those religions are treated equally by the state and the law.
2)Freedom of religion:
This means that the state and the law grants every individual in the nation the freedom to choose the religion they would want to involve themselves in or the freedom not to participate in any religion.
