the resistance of a conductor depends on

length of the conductor....

the length of the conducted is directly proportional to the resistance that is is the length of the conductor is increased the resistance of the conductor will be increase and if the length of the conductor is decreased then resistance will also decreased.

cross section of the conductor.....

resistance of a conductor is inversely proportional to the cross section of the conductor that is if the cross section of the conductor is increased then the resistance is decreased and the vice versa
