We need to look for alternate source of energy because :-
The mainstream fossil fuels like coal and petroleum are non renewable so their reserves are ending fast. Soon all the existing reserves will be finished in about next 50 years.The burning of fossil fuels is polluting the environment. The CO2 obtained from burning fossil fuels is leading to greenhouse effect leading to global warming.Alternate energies do not cause such pollution and are renewable.
