List any three differences between verbal and non-verbal communication.

Definition:Verbal communication involves the use of words or speech or auditory language to express emotions or thoughts or exchange information whereas, Non-verbal communication involves the use of visual or non-verbal cues such as facial expressions, eye or body movements, gestures, and many more without speaking.
  2. Communication type: Verbal communication can be both formal or informal but non verbal communication is always informal
  3. Impact: Verbal communication is highly impactible as, people can understand it easily. On the other side, non verbal communication is very comprehensive as it shows the actual emotions of the person.
  4. Medium of communication: For verbal communication, Emails, letters, notes, reports, i.e. Anything in written and oral format where words are used. For non verbal communication, Through Body posture, gestures, eye contacts, face expressions i.e. any form of expression.
