The three example of frictions that help us eventually are as follows – the friction occurring between the car brakes and the wheel; the friction between the floor and our shoes and lastly the friction between the roads and the car tires.

• The first friction between car brakes and its wheels allow the cars to slow down and stop. Had this friction did not exist, a large number of accidents would occur.  
• The second friction is between our shows and the floor enabling us to stop and preventing from slipping. Had this friction did not exist, injuries would occur.  
• The third friction is between the road and the car tires enabling the cars to prevent skidding and helping in slowing down.
