1)The particles in a colloidal solution cannot be viewed by naked eyes but only through an ultra microscope.
2)Colloidal solutions cannot be filtered using a filter paper but rather using a parchment paper or a cell membrane.
3)The solution formed in a colloidal solution is heterogeneous and not homogeneous as true solutions..
4)Colloidal solutions are translucent and not transparent
Also the particles do not settle down and scatter a beam of light passing through it which is the Tyndall effect
