  • Enactment of various acts such as The forest Conservation act 1980, The wildlife protection act 1972 etc. Declaration of fourteen bioreserves. Some of which are : the Sunderbans, the Nilgiris, Norkek etc. Adopting methods of scientific forestry and coordinating with tribals for the conservation of forests.
