Following are the identifying features of Fungi:-

1. Organisms of this kingdom are unicellular or multicellular and heterotrophs.

2. Their cells are devoid of chlorophyll.

3. Maximum fungi are filamentous. They form a network of filaments which is known as mycelium.

Example:- mucor, yeast, agaricus (mushroom), etc.
