water is indeed a compound and not a mixture as:
◆ we know that the molecule of water I.e H20 has two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen. { ratio is 2:1 and it never gets changed } up
◆ it's physical and chemical properties are different than its constituent elements I.e hydrogen has and oxygen gas are totally different from water which is a liquid.
◆ it is a difficult task to separate the constituent elements of water. { electrochemical reactions can be used }
