2. Additionally, subtraction, multiplication and division were very successful, which further utilized a numeric system for counting and solving mathematical problems involving multiplication and fractions.
3. They had acquired knowledge to calculate the land or surface area in triangle, quadrangle, square, rectangle, etc.
4. They also prepared a calendar and split a year into 360 days and 12 months, consisting of 30 days per month.
5. They were in addition equally well versed with false position method and quadratic equations.
