Explanation:

So, the necessary conditions would be, reactants must have availability of air, especially oxygen.

Generally, activation energies of combustion reactions are bit high. So,for initiation, heat must be supplied. In some cases, even combustion takes place in absence of heating.

As, reaction is highly exothermic, sufficient precautions must be taken in aspects like choosing material of container, etc....

The container we use must sustain large temperatures.
