Conditions required for the cultivation of Rice :

✴ Temperature: mean monthly temperature of 24 degrees .Early growing stage 16 to 20 degrees.Ripening stage 18 to 32 degrees.
✴ Rainfall: 150 to 300 cm and frequent showers during the ripening stage.
✴Soil: grows best on sub-soil of impervious clay.Alluvial soil ,black soil are also suitable.
