Charts in MS Office package are a very efficient way of showing data in an organized visual representation.
The main elements of a chart are-
• Chart Title: The chart title denotes the name of the chart, which generally explains the subject of data which chart represents.
• Chart Area: It is the entire area (including X-Y axes and legend) within which the chart is generated.
• Plot Area: It includes only the area where the graphical representation of data is plotted.
• Legend: It shows which color represents what quantity/data
• X-Axis: It represents the numbering along the horizontal direction.
• Y-Axis: It represents the numbering along the vertical direction.
