The conductivity of an electrolyte is therefore affected by the following factors:
- The concentration of ions in solution. The higher the concentration of ions in solution, the higher its conductivity will be.
- The type of substance that dissolves in water.
- Temperature.

Here are some factors which affect electrolytic conductance:-
1. Inter ionic attraction:- It is inversely proportional means that conductance will be low if there will will be more ionic attraction.
2. Polarty of solvent:- Conductance will be higher in case the solvent has high-dlelectric constant.
3. Viscosity of medium:- It is also inversely proportional as inter ionic attraction. It means conductance goes decrease in case of higher viscosity.
4. Temperature:- Conductance is directly proportional to temperature. This is because as the attraction force decrease as the Kinetic energy increases.
5. Hydrated size:- It is against the Conductance means because of hydration conductance decreases.
