Criteria to judge a chemical nature of a reaction.

Explanation:

  • There are many observations by which chemical nature of a reaction can be decided. These observation can be change in state, change in color, involvement of a gas and change in temperature.
  • Change in state that product formed will be in same state or in different state i.e. solid, liquid, gas.
  • If product formed changes its color from reactant color means there are some chemical reaction taking place.
  • If a gas is involved during a reaction means there is some chemical reaction taking place.
  • If during a reaction temperature changes indicates that a chemical reaction is taking place.

So, all these observation indicates the chemical nature of a reaction.
