five rational numbers between -1 and 1=?

they are rational no. so they are -1/1 and 1/1

we have to find five rational no.

so,5+1=6

so, multiply -1/1 and 1/1 by 6

we will get, -6/6 and 6/6

we will get many rational no. but we have take only five rational numbers

so, the rational no. between -1 and 1 are 5/6,4/6,3/6,2/6 and 1/6....... and so on

you can take from the negative side also will get all the numbers same, only put a  negative sign

Hope it will help you.....................

have a cute day...................

Answer:

-9/10,-8/10,-7/10,-6/10,-5/10

Explanation:

Given :

  • Rational numbers -1 and 1

To Find

  • Five rational numbers between-1 and 1

Solution :

We can find infinite numbers between any two given rational number.

According to the question we have to only 5 rational numbers.

So,

-1 can be written as -1/1 and 1 can be written as 1/1

Multiply numberator and denominator by 10 in fraction -1/1  & 1/1

(we can also multiply 5,6,7...and so on)

\dfrac{-1\times10}{\ \ 1\times10}    &    \dfrac{1\times10}{1\times10}

\dfrac{-10}{\ 10}  &  \dfrac{10}{10}

So,rational number between -10/10 and 10/10 are

-9/10,-8/10,-7/10,-6/10,-5/10,-4/10,-5/10......10/10

Therefore,five rational numbers between -1 and 1 are :-

-9/10,-8/10,-7/10,-6/10,-5/10

(We can write any rational number between -10/10 and 10/10 including positive and 0 as well)
