The causes of biodiversity loss are as follows -

• Pollution : The pollution is the major reason behind the loss of the biodiversity because the pollution is degrading the natural health of our environment which is necessary for the survival of the biodiversity.

• Population increase : As the human population is increasing ,the amount of nature destruction is also increasing accordingly. The human race is constantly destroying natural environments to expand the human locality which is also becoming the reason behind the destruction of the biodiversity.

• Resources extraction : The human beings are constantly extracting the natural resources which are causing major damages to the environmental biodiversity.

• Natural causes : As the environment is changing very rapidly the extinction process also increased it's pace.
