connective tissue 1.the cells are widely spaced and embedded in the intercellular matrix. matrix may be jelly like fluid like or rigid. 2. fibres are present in the matrix of some connective tissue.3 the basic functions is this tissue is providing support to the different organs and keeping them in place. 4. connective tissue is divided in to five broad categories a. aerolar found in skin and muscles. repairs tissue . b. adipose oval and round cells filled with fat gobules. found below skin and in internal organs. c. white fibrous tissue compactly arranged white fibres. this tissue forms cords called tendon muscles to bones. d. yellow elastic tissue forms cords called ligament bone to bone. e. reticular tissue consists of star shaped cells with protoplasmic process. hope u got it
