Answer:-
The four reasons for the extinction of endemic species are Overexploitation of them, Loss of their suitable Habitat, Introduction to New Animals that stop them from reproduction and the last reason is Ecosystem Disruption.
- It is that reason that the organism is hunted so much that their population decreases and couldn't able to maintain their population and hence first get, endangered and then become extinct.
- For Example, Dodo is a bird that was hunted for it's tasty meat. Hunters hunted to such an extent that they got Extinct.
- We know, each animal lives in it's habitat (suitable place to live). If we destroy it how can they live? They will die.
- It occurs when an environment is altered so much that certain organisms can no longer survive and hence, their habitat gets destroyed.
- They , hence, got Extinct.
- If their new hunters/consumers come to live their, their would be some change in the food web and food chain, or simply who eats whom.
- They can give significant impact on them.
- This is because, the new species may prey on, or compete for resources, with the species on that place.
- The living organisms in an Ecosystem are often linked together.
- This link might be a good chain, the pollination of plants by insects, bats, etc., or the shelter that plants provide for certain animals.
- Because of these links the reduction in the population of one specie can affect the polulation of other species.
