Coprime Numbers from 1 to 100
13,17. 13 , 17.
15,16. 15 , 16.
1,10. 1 , 10.
7,15.
Two integers are defined as co-prime to each other if they have no common factors; i.e. their Highest common Factor (HCF) is 1.
So - it makes no sense for instance to say 2 is co-prime; it does make sense to say that 2 is co-prime with 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 etc (i.e. all odd numbers)
3 is a prime, but you can say that 3 is a co-prime with 2, 4, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19 etc (all those values which are not multiples of 3).
4 is co-prime with all odd numbers too.
5 is co-prime with 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12 (i.e. values which are not a multiple of 5)
6 is co-prime with 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 25 (i.e. values which are not multiple of 2 or 3 or both)
So a list of co-prime pairs will be infinite :
for every integer n where n > 1, there will be an infinite number of values which do not share any common factor with n
There are an infinite number of values for n
